If not, this will refresh your memory. A group of European filmmakers tackled the project of recreating that scene and the result is below: It's called "Uncharted: Ambushed."
The video boasts great production value and even though it's not in English, we do get subtitles. Said filmmaker Martin Sofiedal:
"We worked very hard on this and we are very proud of the result, and we hope fellow Uncharted fans will like as much as we did making it."
It's not exactly a shot-for-shot remake of the scene in question and they do take some creative liberties, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's a great homage to a great game, and even Naughty Dog likes it. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End co-director Neil Druckmann Tweeted in reply: "I <.3 it!"

Independent filmmakers thriving of an established franchise… *sighs* If they put all this effort into the production value why cant they write their own Characters + Story. Sure, they wont get all the publicity but feeding of other products success is just so distasteful and I'm tired of seeing it.
I seen this a long time ago I feel like. But I'm confused because I feel like I will get the same experience if I just go play the game.

A nicely done recreation, although I can't say that I much like the actor for Drake. He seems too stiff, I think, leaving the lines and actions to feel forced. But it was well done.
The thought of this series being a movie makes me cringe so hard my nose nearly breaks itself. If the Uncharted movie is anything like that clip then it will be absolutely awful, which wouldn't be surprising at all. 😀
I like the series but it really doesn't need a movie. Just let movies stay as movies & games stay as games. Doesn't matter what game it is, the film is going to stink just like no matter how good a film or T.V series is, the game adaptation will be filth. It could be The Last of Us or Breaking Bad & there would still be no difference here.

i think that was good if they want to make an unchartered movie use the same main actors cos they were good

But for the thought: "Maybe a movie could really work." I doubt it would work *well*. It would be made by Hollywood. And if there's anything that Hollywood is great at doing right now, it's taking established franchises and handing them over to ego-tastic directors who think they know better how something should be done, or are using the production budget to their own ends.
"Millions of already satisfied fans? Let's make something totally inconsistent with what they love!"
I'm not the biggest Uncharted fan, but even I don't want to see it ManOfSteel'ed/StarTrek'ed. Leave it as a game, and not whatever awful re-envisioning they would dream up for the masses.
