Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Will Receive Four DLC Packs

Gearbox Software is never chintzy with the DLC.

Gearbox Software and 2K Australia have announced their downloadable content plans for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel . Studios CEO Randy Pitchford offered the details at a PAX 2014 panel.

There will be four DLC packs in all, and these will add new characters, missions and experiences for the price of $10 apiece. If you'd rather spring for the Season Pass, you can save $10, as the Pass will be priced at $30. However, bear in mind that the Pass doesn't include the pre-order bonus content for the game, the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit. You can grab it at a later time, if you wish, but why not just pre-order?

Pitchford also asked the crowd if they'd like a Handsome Jack body double as a playable character. The audience's response was quite spositive, so that's happening. Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel , which takes place in between the first two games of the series, will release for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 14.

They should have just started work on a ps4 version. But then again Borderlands 2 sold so well on the ps3 I guess they had to cash in why the iron was hot.

U need to realize this isn't being developed by the original developers who are surely working on Borderlands 3.

This to me is a grand expansion in order to continue to reward the fans of Borderlands 2.
