Hey, it might actually be good.
20th Century Fox has released the first official images of the upcoming Hitman film, which is a reboot called "Hitman: Agent 47." The images highlight "Homeland" star Rupert Friend in his new role as the iconic bald assassin. Remember, Friend replaced the late Paul Walker ("The Fast and the Furious").
The film also stars Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek)" as John Smith and Hannah Ware ("Shame") as Katia van Dees. Recent movies based on the acclaimed franchise haven't done well at all, although critics hated it more than theater-goers, as the films didn't do terribly at the box office. We don't know much about the story right now but given the history of the series, there's plenty of potential for a great drama.
"Hitman: Agent 47" is set to arrive in theaters on February 27, 2015. It's directed by Aleksander Bach, an established commercials director who's now trying his hand at feature films.
looks like he's trying to decide between a double half caff and machiado.
Hey, that's serious business, man!
That screenshot looks terrible. I have no faith in the movie now. It seriously looks like some sort of comedy sketch or something. Maybe its the angle, but definitely the cinematography's off a bit. Hopefully in a trailer everything will look better, the Agent deserves a good movie.
I think Timothy Olyphant looked more the part than Friend does, honestly. These people need to get some actual fans of the material they're adapting to make these movies (and leave them alone until they fine such individuals), because the tone and casting seem to totally miss the mark of every single of these movies.
agreed, but Tim didn't have the personality. Friend has the personality but not the look. Casting directors suck.
yeh Timothy Olyphant was actually pretty good as 47.
might be interested in that since i just finished reading the latest alex rider book(started the series when i was 15 which is awhile ago now) and it was about a guy like this but not bald and russian.
happy gaming
