As revealed over at the PlayStation Blog , Naughty Dog has announced the Grounded Bundle for the critically acclaimed PlayStation 3 exclusive, The Last Of Us .
This new piece of downloadable content is the third and final expansion, and you'll get it at no extra cost if you picked up the $20 Season Pass. If you don't have the Pass, you can grab this pack for $5.
The Grounded Bundle offers fresh additions to the game's single- and multiplayer modes, and the campaign addition is intriguing: It's called "Grounded Mode," and it's the "hardest challenge you'll ever face:"
"The AI is relentless, smart, and brutal, and survival will be near impossible."
This expansion also includes the Reclaimed Territories Map Pack, which features four new multiplayer Maps: Wharf, Capitol, Coal Mine and Water Tower. Each map comes with six new Trophies to earn, too! If they want to shell out a little more, players will further appreciate new guns and survival skills; The Survivalist Weapon Bundle brings you four weapons (Specter, Double Barrel, Enforcer and Launcher), and the Survival Skills Bundle offers Situational and Professional Survival Skills.
Lastly, as if you've forgotten, The Last Of Us: Remastered comes to the PlayStation 4 soon, possibly on June 20 .

Nothing for me here unless I do buy the game again for the PS4 at some point. Survivor mode was intense enough for me and really was the best way to play the game if one truly wants to experience the game. The Normal mode is just for plain FUN!
BUT if anyone out there publishes a few vids online for the Grounded Mode then I would love to see it in action. It would have to be totally insane.

Cant wait for the Ps4 version of The Last of Us. One of the many reasons why i wait ed to go the Ps3 version now if only rockstar releases a Ps4 version of GTA 5 then there wont but much reason to keep my ps3 any longer.
The only games that I play on hard difficulty are Megaten/Persona games and MGS other than that… normal is fine because I don't get to play often throughout the week. It's another good incentive for those who are still on the fence though.
