Sure, it caters to a very niche group. But if you're part of that group, this news makes you very excited.
Sega has announced that Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd is cleared for a Western release. It will arrive in North America and Europe for the PlayStation 3 and Vita later this year.
Both platforms will receive packaged versions, too. Featuring 40 songs, including some only previously found in Japanese releases, this is definite fanservice. Players can also look forward to the return of the addictive Edit Mode feature, which lets you build your own videos and Rhythm games using in-game assets. You can then share your stellar creations with the rest of the Hatsune Miku community.
Sega claims to have made some "notable improvements" when compared to the original title, and the fans should appreciate that, too.

Not ashamed to admit that I am a part of that niche group – and this DOES make me very excited. (^<^) Sweet!
It's always nice to see more Japanese games coming overseas.
Played the demo of the first game and it was really fun if I ever see it for around $20 might pick it up.
