Ben-DutkaTrophy-hounds, you've got a new endeavor: PlayStation Home!
Trophies are available for every new PlayStation game, but Sony is taking it one step further when the virtual world of PlayStation Home gets update v1.86. As PlayStation Europe Community Manager Chris Owen revealed on Twitter :
"PlayStation Home v1.86 coming on Weds 12 March, introduces Trophies! *ping*"
The update launches worldwide on March 12 (that's tomorrow, peeps), and they'll announce details on retroactive Trophies at that time. Bear in mind that for the time being, there's no word on whether or not Home will become available on the PlayStation 4; for now, it's only on the PS3. Home has grown and expanded a lot since its inception in late 2008. It's now very large and very involving, so here's hoping they do opt to deliver it to the new console.
As for Trophies, we have a feeling there will be many for Home.
What's the point? It won't make it to PS4 unless it secretly became a huge money maker without anybody noticing.
I have been on there a few times and you wouldn't believe the amount of money people pay on crap to buy like costumes or to have a little object (tiger or dinosaur ect.) follow you around. I bet they have made plenty of profit through these people.

I guess with the money in digital distribution a secret we won't know if those little pets actually pay for the development.
This is so foolish. What on earth could the trophies be… I take it there won't be any for succeeding in 100 harassment.. which would be more fitting to the nature of home…
I really hope they don't give trophies for having PS Home friends of rubbish like that, it's bad enough we live in a narcissistic society with Fb and how they've diminished the value of 'friends' on that. If we start getting 'social' trophies like on the Xbox I will not be pleased. I know on the Xbox One there are other Achievements like watching a certain amount of movies, it would just ruin what trophies stand for, keep it to the core gaming experience Sony.
Oh, I thought this meant that the Star Wars Senate-style trophy room was finally happening…
The time playing PS Home in general can be spent doing other things…

Hit up the local bar
Heck, even sleeping
