Lollipop Chainsaw Finally Passes 1 Million

It took a while, but they've finally reached that lofty milestone.

As Grasshopper Manufacture announced on Twitter , the over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek Lollipop Chainsaw has passed 1 million copies sold worldwide:

"Get your celebration gear on! Lollipop Chainsaw has sold more than a million copies!!! Woot Woot!!"

It took over a year and a half for the game to pass the million mark, but at least it happened, right? In response to a fan on Twitter who wanted to know if we'd ever see a sequel, the studio said: "Personally, I think so." That's good news, especially because Grasshopper isn't always in the business of pumping out sequels; they tend to focus on new IPs. Would you like to see a sequel?

If you missed out, you can always read our review and decide if you want to help raise that million total.

Well the company is already working on a hack-n-slash game for the PS4: "Lily Bergamo".

They probably are going to try and make that game into a million seller as well, before they go back to making a LC sequel.

That game was a lot of fun and one of the very, very few games I actually found to be funny. Especially Juliet's little sister Rosalind, she cracked me up. Good to see it achieved at least moderate commercial success.

I'd buy the sequel if they make one.
