If you want to check out the Gran Turismo documentary, you'll have to be a Hulu subscriber. Are you?
Sony has announced that the official GT film, "KAZ: Pushing the Virtual Divide," will launch January 22 via Hulu, and it will boast historical footage and "never before told stories" from various experts in the racing and gaming industries.
The release of the film celebrates the 15th anniversary of the revered franchise, and it will trace Yamauchi's career from his stint as a pro racer to his founding of the Polyphony Digital studio. Filming took place in a dozen locations around the world; it was helmed by short film and commercial director Tamir Moscovici and captured by noted cinematographer Anthony Arendt ("Avatar"). Obviously, this movie is designed specifically for the automotive fan and GT follower.
Furthermore, on January 22, there will be a roundtable session on Twitch featuring Yamauchi and Moscovici. You might want to check it out, because they'll be giving away $1 million worth of in-game credits for the recently released Gran Turismo 6 .
