Man, I don't know about you, but I got a combined Heretic , House of the Walking Dead vibe from this trailer.
Dead Island developer Techland is currently working on a first-person co-op action title called Hellraid , which is due out later this year for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The game features a story-driven campaign and "unique, competitive cooperation multiplayer that pits four players against the armies of hell – and each other – in a battle for points, rewards and fame." Techland has released a new teaser video for the upcoming slash-fest, and there are plenty of dead skeletons and zombie-like enemies strewn all over the place. It's like Dead Island only with a medieval tone; isn't that a staff the character is using in his right hand…? Love that bit of fantasy!
Anyway, to be honest, this looks like more fun than Dead Island . I like the Dark Ages theme that goes along with it, and who knows? Maybe the story will be interesting…if we're lucky.
