Can't get enough Borderlands 2 ? We hear ya. Game totally rocks, doesn't it?
Now, developer Gearbox Software has revealed the fourth and final piece of downloadable content for last year's award-winning title. And like the previous expansions, this one boasts an exceedingly odd name…
It's called Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep and it'll release on June 25 as a free download for owners of the game's Season Pass. If you're not a Pass holder, you'll have to fork over $9.99. This fourth DLC expansion joins Captain Scarlett and Her Captain's Booty, Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage and Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt. See? All weird names, but all exceedingly cool extra content. That Season Pass is $30, so you could've saved yourself $10 if you had indeed planned to grab all four expansions.
There's just something infinitely playable about Borderlands 2 . It's why we gave it Shooter of the Year for 2012.

BL1 left a taste of stale barf in my mouth so I never tried 2, but that looks and sounds like something totally retro. I find that interesting because it seems to be a rising trend, and a good one at that.
I did not like the first one at all. Loved the second one.
That being said, if you REALLY hated the first because of its style and gameplay, you probably won't like the sequel, even though it's eons better.
The first is pure goodness, one of the most underrated games this generation. The second is just unreal and a lot of its success can be credited to the first. They did such a good job that its comparable to what R* did with RDR, and create a huge following. beware though this is a co-op game at heart, they really developed it to be played with someone (at least 1 other player), based clearly off the skills of each character. You can play alone and have a lot of fun but its just not the same.
Their support for this game is second to none also. They continually support with dlc, extra content, patches and really want players to have the best experience.
I say give it a shot.
Everyone seems to love it. It's so weird how inconsistent Gearbox can be…
there inconsistant because they dont give a flying %$#@ about the other franchises!
DNF was a mess, and, well, randys responses to interviews when people asked him was he shocked at the reviews tells the story quite well.
all he does is points to the sales, so in other words who gives a rats a$$ whether people like it or not, its selling well thats all that matters!
and aliens colonial marines, well, the less said about that the better!
not to mention the rumors of them using the money they were getting from SEGA for it on the development of borderlands 2 instead.
back to borderlands 1 though, allot of people hated it because the missions felt like side missions and fetch quests.
one thing ive noticed in allot of games this gen, especially when main missions just feel like side missions or mindless fetch quests it hurts the enjoyment of the game.
dead island is another perfect example, i found that game so tedious and mundane it was FRUSTRATING!
riptide though is not as much of a fetch quest, missions feel like proper missions instead of side missions, so im actually quite enjoying it.
this is the perfect example with whats wrong with publishers this gen.
they take a game that takes REALLY long to finish, and release it among 100 other games!
we cant release it in a quiet month, no it has to release among 100 other releases.
then to make things worse, VERY few games get DLC, so lets give DLC to a game that 99% of people have not finished the story campaign for let alone any DLC!
sigh.
for once can we have a really long game release in a quiet month?
and for once that game released in quiet month actually get some DLC for that?
its almost like companies say ok when is the worst time we can release this?
ok will release it then.
which game will take the longest to finish, and 99% of people wont finish it because 100 other games released around the same time?
ok will release DLC for that.
seriously, is it that hard to try organize the releases of these things better?
release borderlands 2 in a quieter month, and give it better timed DLC, and it would of sold even better than it had!
really want to finish this, and get all the DLC, but never will because by the time im finished the story for borderlands 2, borderlands 7 will be out!
