So it seems. MGS guru Hideo Kojima has Tweeted an interesting image today, with the caption, "Checking." As you can see, there are various shots of the legendary protagonist, Snake, along with images of the series leading up to the great PSP installment, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker .
This leads one to believe that another compilation of sorts is on the way. Furthermore, a poster in the NeoGAF forums has shown a listing for the "Metal Gear Solid: Legacy Collection" on the Korean Game Ratings Board. Konami hasn't officially confirmed anything just yet, but this certainly sounds plausible. And it'd be great news for hardcore fans of the iconic series, especially those who just can't get enough of the older titles.
And hopefully, we'll start seeing more of MGSV soon, too.
Would love to see MG1 ang MG2 remastered to atleast PS1 graphics.

Well I already consider myself content with the PS3 release of the MGS HD Collection. Curious to what this could be without it being sort of pointless… I mean PS3 owners are sorted as we have the digital release of MGS1, The HD Collection and MGS4. I would welcome a remake or MG1 & MG2 in a heartbeat!

Either that, or PS2 HD graphics version of Metal Gear 1 and 2 from the NES, bundled into a single Legacy game with David Hayter back on voice duty as Snake.

IGN says it's like a collection of five games. Doesn't matter what it is, I want it.
Anyone remember how impressive that MGS2 shot looked back in the day? It still looks nice even now.
I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw that picture. When I first saw the trailer I couldn't believe my eyes, it looked so amazing, the animation so smooth, and I agree with you that it still looks great even after so many years.
all remastered within the fox engine, oooooo now that would be sweet!
sad how this generations most excitable games are mostly remakes.
