Ready for some old-school side-scrolling hackin' and slashin' fun? I know I am.
Atlus has announced that Vanillaware's latest retro project, Dragon's Crown , will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America this summer. It will retail for $49.99 and $39.99 for the PS3 and Vita respectively, and it will arrive in both physical and digital format.
Vanaillaware is the team that brought you Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade , and Dragon's Crown might remind gaming veterans of the arcade smash hit, Golden Axe . In the new adventure, players choose one of six distinct characters (The Fighter, The Dwarf, The Amazon, The Wizard, The Elf or The Sorceress) and then they will set out to battle all sorts of nasties in the fantasy world of Hydeland. It's recommended that you play with a friend or two (up to four players or AI allies can accompany you), although you should be reminded that cross-platform play is not supported.

Ah yes, great! More games with dragons, knights, elves, gnomes and sorcerers! We definitely need more of that. Really, we do. No, I'm not being sarcastic here. Not at all. Can never have enough dragons! Or sorcerers. Or elves. Not to mention gnomes.
I wonder how their character profiles will be like! I bet they will be like unlike any gnome, elve, sorcerer or knight before them!

I like the cut of this game's jib.
What the hell? Isn't that a bit pricey for this kind of game?
I thought so.
i still want muramasa on ps3…
I want this game so bad. My only problem is the price point. Unless it is really long like Odin Sphere was I think the price is a bit steep :
I will still probably pick this up, I really like the games Vanillaware puts out.
