Oh, we all know a fourth Saints Row is coming at some point.
Publisher Deep Silver recently acquired the hit franchise from bankrupted company THQ for $22.3 million, and it seems they won't be sitting on that series name for very long.
Energetic Deep Silver marketing boss Aubrey Norris posted up an exciting Tweet over the weekend:
"Dear media: You're going to want to be at PAX East this year. If not, you're going to be missing out on something HUGE. Just FYI!"
We don't know anything else just yet, but it's likely that Saints Row 4 will be headed our way, perhaps later this year. Deep Silver has apparently been working on the fourth installment since 2011, and they've already called it a "wilder" iteration than any previous series entry…and that's just wacky . However, if SR4 is announced at PAX East, it'll be interesting to see when it's slated to release. Chances are, they don't want to do battle with Grand Theft Auto V … That would be an exceedingly bad idea.
