We'll get the full rundown in a matter of hours but in the meantime, five screenshots from the new Assassin's Creed have been leaked .
You can see two of them here; click through the link to see the others. The new hero's name is Edward Kenway and obviously, there's a pirate theme, too. Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will undoubtedly feature naval battles, along with new missions set in "lush, tropical" surroundings, and players will be able to use both swords and pistols. That's nothing new, though.
There was a trailer as well but that has since been removed. I'm sure we'll see it again when it becomes official some time later today. Ubisoft Montreal lead content manager Carsten Myhill said on Twitter that this whole Black Flag issue has been "leakier than the Titanic." Well, that's okay, right?
The game is supposed to launch on October 29 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, although it may also come to the PS4 and Wii U. Can't wait for the unveiling!
great!!! sea battles!! and two handed swords and pistols i like it so far!!
Assassin's Creed of the Caribbean!
"There should be a 'Captain' in there somewhere."
Theres a trailer still at coming soon dot net. Thats where I seen it and soon after posted about in in the week in review commenta. The teailer is awesome. It sort of makes me forget about the Pirates of the Carribean: Armada of the Damned game that got canceled.
Edit: it appears the video isnt working so, I guess Monday will be the big day. But it featured Black Beard! Awesome!

Lmfao "leakier than Titanic" actually made me lol
saw the trailer today. When you guys watch it you'll probably be mixed on it. I don't know it has this "Annualization" feel to it. Looks cool though.
I dont like the annualization of the series. But I gotta be honest, when I seen the trailer it felt fresh. I was excited for AC3, but I cant wait for this one!
So of course it will have an annualization feel. It is annualized. But its a fresh idea, in a series thats popular.
what the!?
sigh, ubisoft is turning into freaking EA!
next im going to be booting up splinter cell and find Sam is hanging off the back of a giant alien queen, rips its head off and kicks its eyeball through the goal posts!
I'm curious as to how the hell that analogy has anything to do with anything. Are you commenting on the annualization in a really weird way? Do you think its ridiculous that Ubisoft try something a little different in an obvious spinoff? I don't understand what you're trying to get at, whatsoever, or how it makes any sense.
Loved the naval battle in 3 so more of that will be awesome .Wish it will be a bigger part of the game that time ( something like Sid Meier's Pirates!)
