BioWare Teases Mass Effect 3 DLC

If you're not quite ready to put Mass Effect 3 away for good, we've got good news: More downloadable content should be on the way soon.

BioWare producers Casey Hudson and Mike Gamble have teased upcoming extra content via two relatively vague images.

They represent currently unannounced DLC for the sci-fi action/RPG. The first image shows off a vibrant casino setting and Hudson added the tagline- "Looks like a nice place for some R&R." Then there's a picture of an armed Krogan creature wielding a very large melee weapon; Gamble said it's a guy you wouldn't want to mess with. Well, duh. This isn't the first teaser information we've received as late last year, the developer pseudo-confirmed some single-player expansion content for ME3, saying it's "all hands on deck." That was an encouraging statement.

Personally, though, I'm getting a little tired of all this ME3 stuff. Can we get moving on Dragon Age III: Inquisition , please? I know it's supposed to be a next-gen project at this point, but I still wanna know more about it.

Yeah, Mass Effect 3 is pretty well played out at this point. I was really hoping we'd see some post-ending DLC for ME3, like we did with ME2. Just sort of start setting the stage for whatever Mass Effect 4 is going to be about, y'know? Alas, doesn't look like it's going to happen.

I don't know many people who are interested in DLC for this game, the main reason being that it wont affect the ending, and that it doesn't seem like they are going to make Epilogue like DLC.

Now if they made some sort of epilogue DLC or something that happened after the ending, that would have my attention.

I think they should get DA3 moving along instead of lingering with ME3 single player DLC, thats just me though.

I suppose there's still a chance we'll get some epilogue DLC — it strikes me as an awfully effective way to get people excited about whatever's next for Mass Effect, and you'd have to think it would make vast sums of money. But nothing yet, and that's been really disappointing.

Worth remembering, I suppose, that the last bits of Mass Effect 2 DLC came just a few months before Mass Effect 3 hit, so fingers crossed.

Yeah I agree too – the Mass Effect trilogy is over. Done.

I too am more eager to hear about the upcoming BioWare releases.

Personally, I'm really glad that they're still working on content for this game. My enjoyment never depended completely on the ending (which I actually loved). To me, it's an extremely fun game regardless, and I'll take all the extra content I can get.

Dlc that shows the recovered Shepherd find his crew and celebrating with a foursome with Miranda, Ash and Lara – yeah probably buy it
