Burnout Paradise was one of the most entertaining (and best supported via DLC) games of the generation.
So what do the racing fanatics want to see in a follow-up effort? No, such a project hasn't been confirmed, but it's always interesting when head honchos ask the fans such a question…
Just check Burnout creator Alex Ward's Twitter account , where he asks- "If we were to make a sequel to Burnout Paradise – what should be in it?" The first title was released back in 2008 and it did very well; developer Criterion Games went on to produce the acclaimed Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and last year's Need for Speed: Most Wanted . That, by the way, is essentially "Burnout Paradise 2" according to many, as it's an open-world racer with all sorts of bad-ass flash and panache.
But what would you like to see in a true Paradise sequel?
Related Game(s): Burnout Paradise
Honestly, I wasn't crazy about the open-world thing. But I LOVE Burnout so please bring it to the Vita (or give the Vita an old-style Burnout game that releases along side an open-world console version).

I'm with you, 3 and revenge were my favs. I hated, well disliked paradise
A bird told me back in October that preliminary work on BP2 had already started. Nice to see the rumour had some truth to it!
I'm (still) enjoying Most Wanted, and while there are some great things about it, it's no Burnout Paradise!
Well those many should stop drinking there bath water, muahahaha. If it plays the same who cares, it's a different title game.

I just hope they stick to 60fps. Whether or not it's on PS3 or PS4 I'm game.
make it a ps4 launch title, keep the 60FPS, and this time include real life cars.
have motorbikes and cars available from day 1, dont make people start off with the crummy crappy hatchbacks!
oh and bring back some of the series staples, like the different modes found in burnout dominator.
oh and keep the open world racing, it was really cool how you had to find the route yourself.
they just need to make it a bit easier to tell the right route, allot of times you would end up turning onto a street which looks like the right way than would end up turning into a railway yard and you cant get off it.
that was FRUSTRATING!
oh and of course, a restart race option!
cant believe they put out the game forcing you to drive all the way back to where you were to retry the race!
oh and dont forget a metric sh*t ton of jumps, billboards, gates and such to find, leap off, and destroy!
and the car parks, it was so much fun driving to the top level than hurling yourself off to the street below!
oh and dont forget showtime, that was so much fun purposefully crashing so you can flip your car, roll down the motorway going to wrong way destroying buses!
and make sure theres a online map which analyses your game save, and shows you where all the things you havent found are.

The coop challenges that took us all over the map and showed us all the cool locations – and put us on some crazy tests. That was such a trip. Made the entire game for me.

I loved all the Burnouts, never was I disappointed. Would love to see a HD Trilogy for the Vita and PS3.

U miss the PS2 BURNOUTs…oh wait, I have them and can play them, but I wish the newer versions were as fun instead of just looking prettier.
I have suggested a Burnout Battle Mode with weapons. But only a mode because the inclusion of weapons would essentially make it a different game. Either way a new Burnout will definitely become a part of my library.
I am in the midst of Most Wanted right now and was just thinking about how much I'd like a new Burnout. Started last week and I am at %50 completion and %47 of Trophies. I aim to Platinum this game. Something I only do for games I love.
Just give me anything before burnout paradise and keep going in the right direction with the most wanted franchise.
Giv me back everything that made Burnout great. They took everything that was cool, threw it away and made Burnout Paradise. The most basic, uncool Burnout ever. I mean, hell, if they even brought back takedown combos I would defs get BP2. But if you can only takedown 1 car at a time again… No way.
I was a little disappointed when I first played Burnout: Paradise, because it wasn't like the old ones, but it quickly became my favourite arcade racer, in my opinion, none of the NFS games that criterion has produced since have compared to paradise. The racing was good, but the open world and online mayhem of Paradise is still better then any other arcade racer.
My suggestions for BP2? Bring back the crash parties and split screen, include online police chases right out of the box, and not in some crappy DLC. And put in the boats and planes races you were contemplating as a DLC for the first BP.
But to date, I have yet to be disappointed in a Burnout game, which I can definitely not say the same for NFS…
I'm actually surprised to hear so many people on here didn't like Burnout Paradise. Saying you don't like Burnout Paradise because it's different from the old Burnout's, for me is kind of like saying you don't like the PS3 because it's different from the PS2…
Yeah they changed a lot but they needed to show off what they could do with the new system, and the game is still an amazing looking and playing game compared to newer games..and the support they did with all the expansions? Don't get me wrong I loved the old Burnout's, but I think Paradise was a step in the right direction for the series, which is more then you can say for other series this generation..
Not to mention that Paradise with all of it's online challenges, is the reason I play games online now…I was mostly an offline game guy, but the fun I had and the people I met in Paradise led me to play more games online…
But that's just me..
