Ben-DutkaAll right, so they won't confirm that inFamous 3 is in the works, but at the same time, they don't appear to be unhappy with their working relationship with Sony, either. And that's worth noting.
Although it's a somewhat broken translation , it seems clear that developer Sucker Punch is happy to remain at Sony's side. The team that brought you the entertaining inFamous franchise this generation appreciates their position, as studio co-founder Bruce Oberg said:
"We'll see where we go next. We have a great relationship with them [Sony] and adore the PlayStation platform. Not lying when I say that for us is a killer technology platform to work with. Moreover, the media, marketing, and also the approach, allowing us to make the game we want to do is really incredible."
That was in response to whether or not they'll give us inFamous 3 (and they better, at some point). Sucker Punch has said that letting Sony have that great IP is a "small price to pay" for being able to "make the game you want." Well, I know the game I want is the next inFamous , so…chop chop, guys. And please do make it a PS4 launch title if you so desire. 😉
Id get a ps4 a lot sooner if infamous 3 is on it! Perhaps a launch title?

I know I will get thumbs down for this but I'd only get it if they get the original voice actor for Cole. The new guy just doesn't cut it for me.
I liked both voice actors for different reasons. They were both competent at playing Cole.
It's funny I wasn't too enthralled with the debut of infamous or Uncharted but the sequels blew me away. I'd love to see sucker punch make great use of the new technology from the next gen system. Imagine if the next Uncharted, infamous and GT game are available on or around launch!
Uncharted:DF is my favorite in the series and favorite game.
inFamous 2 I enjoyed much more than the original. Gameplay was pretty awesome.
I, am also hoping at least the next Uncharted is a launch title, but having inFamous 3 there too would be so epic. Best launch line up ever! 😉

No we can't have Killzone, Uncharted, and InFamous launch at the same time. Spread them out, Spare me wallet please.
The games wouldn't be going anywhere. Though it would kinda hard to choose….
But I do hope they remember to make new IPs for the ps4. Just image if uncharted, and infamous (and the others ) didn't get created because the companies just make sequels.

Almost sounds like they are doing something else, but inFamous 3 just has to happen at some point. Imagine that sucker on next gen hardware. Maybe they've added team members and split up to pull a Naughty Dog on us with two upcoming titles.
I actually hope they are working on something new. Now don't get me wrong, Infamous were great games, but I must admit that towards the middle of the sequel it all started to get a bit old. There's something about to "quit while the going is good".
So if I can have it my way, it'll be a new IP that is *as* good – or better – than Infamous. Still open world and still all that stuff that made it fun. Only better and fresher.

That's the beauty of the sequel (when Squaresoft isn't involved) there is always room for improvement and innovation in the game.
Infamous 1 and 2, is easily one of my favorite games this gen. But i also couldn't help but make puns throughout each game. Now i make puns because it stuck. Infamous 3 is going to be quite the electrifying adventure.
I don't want Cole though, i mean he did his part. Maybe choosing which powers you start with and then moving from there would be cool. I'd choose lightning (because red just looks so freaking awesome.) I know im pretty shocked too.. See? Their so bad!!
inFamous 1 & 2 were great!
Plus I very much loved how they changed things up using vampires in their "Festival of Blood" DLC too!

That would be nice. I'm predicting inFamous 3 and Uncharted 4 are the two big launch titles for PS4, along with Killzone 3, and something new from Media Molecule.
I know one thing, I'm not getting a PS4 for a long time. PS3 will keep me entertained for years to come.
I would rather them work on something new actually. The franchise isn't going anywhere. We don't have to have the next game so soon.
I'm in the "would rather see a new IP" boat from Sucker Punch. Infamous 2 ended on a high note, time to move on, at least take a break from the series for 2 game cycles.

i doubt it will be infamous related, they seemed to be a bit over and bored with it they want to move onto something different.
I think we've had enough of a break from inFamous 2 to justify a release of inFamous 3. Let's do the trilogy, stop for a while to get on a new IP, and then return to inFamous if SP can justify continuing the narrative.
