Ben-DutkaPart of Devil May Cry 's appeal has always been its awesome atmosphere and style.
The franchise's protagonist, Dante, is quite familiar with the term "style," as is his half-brother, Vergil. Both have been mainstays in the popular and acclaimed series, and both will return in next year's DMC .
So here are some new Japanese trailers that feature the highly capable bros, squaring off against all kinds of nasty foes…hey, that rhymes. Which do you think comes out on top in the style category? Which earns more points for looking totally bad-ass while walloping any demon dumb enough to come at them? Personally, I'll give the edge to Dante but I might be a little biased. I've always hated Vergil after taking forever to beat him at the end of DMC3…good GOD that freak was hard. Well, the whole damn game was hard.

Thought you couldn't play as Vergil, DLC?
Yes its dlc, if you ore-order you get it for free.
I don't think it'll have the same impact as the original DMC….but I will admit the fact that you get to play as Vergil is a bonus for me…
Also, not sure if this is weird or not, but Vergil's new design doesn't grate on my skin nearly as much as Dante's….or perhaps the game is just growing on me in general.
Still doubt that I'll pre-order, but I think I will get it pretty soon after release.
That music is sensational! I think that Vergil's video looks more stylish, but Dante's gameplay looks solid as hell. I really can't wait to get my hands on this one. Really hope that NT brings their absolute best to the table.

id have to go for vergil, hes always had a more acrobatic eccentric style.
i hope they do a special edition like they did with 3, and let players replay the game as vergil.
for those who own both 360 and PS3 I've tried the demos for each platform and like Enslaved the game runs noticeably more stable on 360.
At least Dante sort of resembles older Dante. But Vergil? What…he looks like some jock from high school now..
