The November Game Informer issue will blow the lid off Grand Theft Auto V , so you should definitely check it out.
But if you just can't wait, it seems we have a bunch of leaked details thanks to a GameFAQs user , and they do seem legitimate. Check out a few of the highlights:
As you probably already know by now, GTAV is confirmed for Spring 2013. That could mean it won't get here until late April or May but we're fairly certain of one thing: It'll be well worth the wait.
Related Game(s): Grand Theft Auto V
I dig every single item on that list. Totally dig them all.
It's time to celebrate: GTA IS BACK!

A bizarre homage to Albert DeSalvo aka The Boston Strangler?
Perhaps…
Albert DeSalvo died at age 42 so I'm gonna say its not coincidence
The only problem is while I was reading a lot of other threads in that forum too, was that it seems there's a lot of trolls who also intentionally post mis-directional crap there too.
So I'm just going to wait for my copy of Game Informer to arrive so I can get the 18-page REAL low-down on GTA5.

wow this sounds great i get so pumped just reading that. when it was first announced last year i tried not to think about it because i knew it was well over a year away but now that it's getting closer And finally getting some info… just so exciting. as boom said GTA IS BACK!.
i wish i could get Game Informer in canada would love to read all that.
TheCanadianGuy,
Just an FYI…..
If you have any GameStop or EB stores there, you can get a year's subscription to Game Informer mag, and at a deep discount.
Just sign up for their $15 PowerUpPro rewards card which includes a year of Game Informer mailed directly to you way ahead of new-stands, plus you'll get at least 10% to 20% off on any used games, consoles & accessories too.
thanks bike maybe i'll check that out. i don't buy used games or shop at GS but if i can get the mag i might go for it.
Thx BikerSaint
All sounds great apart from the property. For me this ruined Vice City Stories for the PSP/PS2. I found myself always being bugged as one of my rackets was being invaded to the point where it would get in the way of having fun and story missions. If it is just like the original Vice City where you could purchase properties but not have to constantly go back to them i'd be fine with that.
It doesn't have to be like in VC:Stories. I agree it was a drag there, it was like some sort of a mini-game that really was no fun at all.
But remember there also was property purchases in Vice City and San Andreas (and GTA 3 too, if I remember correctly?). I assume it's that kind of property purchase we talk about here.
yea that was a drag in VCS. but i never played VCS enough for it to really bother me never had a PSP so i just got it on PS2 and ran though the story And went back to San Andreas.
btw boom no GTAIII had no property purchasing.
Ah thanks Canadian. I was very unsure, I could not recall buying properties there but felt I was wrong in thinkin so. It's become quite a few years ago. 🙂
But seriously, the two GTAs on the PSP were so good that they are worth getting a PSP for, especially when you are a fan of your caliber. I was totally, utterly amazed by how they were able to insert those big open games into the tiny PSP. It was an achievement like no other.
Just driving around in Vice City a few years earlier than the setting of the main game were such a blast! Tiny little differences, construction areas where we in VC had buildings, small changes here and there… Awesome.
Plus VCS had the most epic radio shows EVER. They were insanely hilarious!

well i was young then and didn't have my own money and didn't want to ask my parents to buy me a i think it was 250 $ or so for a PSP for just 1 game. believe me i wanted one though but by the time VCS came out it was already announced LCS was headed to PS2 so i figured VCS would to.
i've always felt kind'a bad for not giving VCS the love it deserved i'm gonna have to jump back into that before V. you know now that i think of it i can't even remember much of the radio in VCS yea i will definitely go back.
VC had the best radio stations ever VCPR is my all time favorite GTA radio station. press the issue FTW!
Oh GTA's map being full scale on the PSP was very impressive, there is no doubt about that. I actually had a lot of fun with Liberty City Stories. But with VCS the racketing businesses got completely in the way. Though as I said if it is just involves buying properties like in Vice City, I have no problem with that what so ever, in fact I think it is part of the structure that made VC so great.
Right now, I'm quite proud to be Puerto Rican…!!! Wait, the theme of Grand Theft Auto is crime, right…? F*ck, we may never run away from stereotypes… 🙁
Lol, I really don't care, it sounds pretty good… let's wait for the official announcement! 😀
Seems like it could be solid info, but I'll wait for the official mag leaks.
Is this really that exciting? I could have guessed all that except the exact names of the two guys.
… Because at this stage, *anything* new regarding GTA5 is interesting. 🙂
Okay, I will not read the article because I want to be wowed when I pop in GTAV in my PS Tripple, but I do have 1 question, does it use the Euphoria engine?
It's okay, nothing wowing in there.
Just deleted half the games on my wishlist hearing this!!
If it's as fun as San Andreas was, I will be able to get a good year or 2 out of this mammoth of a game!
While the mini games are good, will the clothing customization options and physical RPG-like development of the main character still exist like with CJ in San Andreas? I loved spending days making him fat, then thin, then ridiculously muscular and seeing how NPC's reacted to that.
haha i did that to xD i hope the customization is as deep as San Andreas was that was one of my favorite things San Andreas introduced to GTA. i was so disappointed GTA IV got rid of that.
Yeah me too – part of my reason for being disappointed with GTA4 were due to I thought SA was an indication of the direction they wanted to go next with GTA (ergo more RPGish).
one of my favorite things i used to do in San Andreas was make CJ as fat as possible then strip down to his boxers then just start playing though missions. it was so funny watching the cutscenes with an hugh fat half naked dude standing there 😛
Good times ahead
still on the fence with this.
GTAIV was such a disappointment and departure from the series im staying skeptical with full protection till its proven itself otherwise.
please, R*, all we want is GTA san andreas in HD!
is that so much to ask?
please, for the love of god, dont give us taxi driver simulation 2!
So excited.
And fake…
Why is "news" being taken from a GameFAQs troll again?
