New-Look Store Suffers Launch-Day Problems In Europe

These things don't always go as smoothly as they should.

Reports are coming in from all over the Internet that the launch of the newly revamped PlayStation Store has caused some crashing issues in Europe. There have been other problems reported as well, such as the Store not recognizing Plus members and the wallet failing to work properly.

And according to Eurogamer , Sony has reverted back to the old Store, apparently so they can work out the kinks. As revealed yesterday , the drastically upgraded Store features a slicker, easier-to-use format, and is scheduled to be available in the US next week (Tuesday, October 23). Hopefully, that's still on track to happen and the launch will go smoother 'round these parts.

Of course, this will only be more cannon fodder for the current anti-PlayStation trend that has once again started to permeate the Internet. But I suppose that can't be helped.
