Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Trilogy Coming Exclusively To PS3

Let's say you're late to the party. Let's just assume, for the sake of argument, that you never got to play some of this generation's greatest games.

And yet, Assassin's Creed III has intrigued you and now you're going, "damn, what have I missed…?" Well, if you're a PlayStation 3 owner, it will soon be time to rectify the situation.

Ubisoft has announced the Assassin's Creed: Ezio Trilogy , which is coming exclusively to the PS3 on November 13 for the price of $39.99. The collection boasts Assassin's Creed II (with downloadable content), Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood , and Assassin's Creed: Revelations , all tidily packaged together on one Blu-Ray disc. Obviously, the reason it's called the Ezio Trilogy is because it spans the three games where Ezio was the protagonist; Altair was the main character in the original title, and we start fresh with Connor in ACIII.

And yes, I know Desmond is technically the "main character," but you get the point. Also, in another nod to PS3 gamers, don't forget that ACIII will feature four exclusive single-player missions. There's just no avoiding the awesomeness that is AC this autumn!

Wow! That's quite a coup for Sony. And as the only human alive who's never played an AC game this may be a good idea 🙂 Part 3 looks utterly fantastic, if I like it as much as I think I will may have to pick this up.

Totally suggest that anyone who hasn't played these get this title.

OT: Ok… Screw it. I'm never watching Looper. That full screen ad is starting to p!$$ me off.

I'm ashamed to say I have never played these titles. (don't hate on me too much)….I only played the original and I never even beat it. From what I understand Brotherhood and AC:2 are the best of the bunch.

I will def be picking this up as AC:3 has really intrigued me.

I'll probably get this even though I've played all of them. Would have been nice if they threw in the original AC too. A complete AC package.

34 more days….and for anyone who hasn't played these games yet, you have no excuse now. This is an amazing deal for 3 amazing games. 🙂

I knew I hat to be holding off for a reason. But, actually, I'd rather play these on my work laptop.

I've beaten both the 1st and 2nd, but hardly played Brotherhood, and didn't even try Revelations, yet. Looking forward to it.

Wow. All in one blu-ray discs huh? I wonder if this will be a new trend for PS3 games. There's lots of dual-layered DVD sized games out there (Xbox) that can fit into into a single layered Blu-ray.

I still haven't finished ACII. Oh how I wonder what you might have done with all that money I sent you…

I'd kill for a Assassin's Creed trophy patch. Ugh, I want it so badly. Sorry, off-topic.

Looks good. Lack of DLC (for AssCreed Bros. and Revelations) is disappointing but overall, a great deal for anyone interested.

Brotherhood was my favorite of the series so far. I have been meaning to play it again but after getting every single player trophy and not getting my platinum kind of pissed me off. All those damn flags, feathers, and restoration points..

Pretty sweet. I wonder if they'll release as set representing Altair's storyline (AC:1, AC:Bloodlines, AC:Revelations.. and maybe the DS prequel if possible).

I was about to buy Revelations and good thing I haven't yet! Too bad it's coming out after Assassin's Creed III and Liberation, but this is a sweet deal nonetheless. I just can't stop thinking that this should have been released before the newer games though.

It's like they read my mind and my shame of only having played the first one!

The 1st is pretty miss-able in my opinion though.

Too bad I've already got the first two on my shelf. Just waiting for Revelations to go Platinum before picking it up as well…
