You should know by now that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is coming to both the PS3 and Vita.
The Cross Buy incentive is fantastic, too (buy the PS3 version, get the Vita version free), and gamers are primed to have tons of fun across both platforms. But how exactly will this work? Are we looking at a physical copy of Battle Royale for the Vita, or a digital copy?
Thankfully, Bluepoint Games Daryl Allison cleared this up over at the PlayStation Blog . In a comment to a reader, he said that Cross Buy "works for retail as well as digitally," so this means that there will be digital versions all over the place. All Vita games have to be available digitally but we're not sure if anyone expected PlayStation All-Stars to go downloadable on the PS3 as well. But then again, who's really shocked? It seems like a great many big-name games are embracing both the physical and digital worlds these days.
Anyway, don't forget that the title hits on November 20!

Well at least they're giving us the "choice, and that's great for both the digital, & the physical, gamers.
Do you hear that developers & publishers, the key word here being "CHOICE"???
Hmmmm….
A physical Vita copy or PS3 copy?
I'll have to ponder this choice…
Ps3 physical (or digital) get PSV digital version free.
Well then I guess that decides it 😉
You get both for the cost of one right?
Yup, Buy the PS3 version and you get a Digital copy of the Vita version for free.

and guess what? DOA5 is gonna be day one PSN release as well. oooooh man, the temptation may be TOO great. Now I can easily commit it to without ever having to leave my home and talk myself out of it on the way to the shop.
And without the tiny bit of shame you'll feel when the clerk smirks at your busty selection 😉
