It seems like everyone is interested in producing an IP these days, so it's really no surprise to hear about Sega's first PS3 IP. Revealed in the most recent edition of Famitsu, the name of the game is Sound Novel , and all we have is some baseline information. As of now, there's no word as to whether or not it'll see the light of day in the U.S., but the game does have a tentative "fall 2007" release date for Japan.
Supposedly, it could be similar to the atmosphere and style of the Xbox 360 launch title, Condemned: Criminal Origins , and it should include "realistic scenes, photographs, and phases in CG." The translations we have seen aren't exactly accurate, so it's tough to decipher much more, but one thing is clear: while Sound Novel might be labeled "action/adventure," this is one rare time when there is just as much "adventure" as "action."
