Many are wondering what sort of big news to expect from Sony at this year's Gamescom conference, and some believe we'll hear about either a new PS3 model or a price cut…or both. And we're okay with both.
Now, according to European source PlayFront.de citing a NeoGAF user, a new PS3 model will indeed be unveiled and it'll be available in only a few weeks time. The fresh hardware iteration will boast a 500GB hard drive and apparently, a bundle with FIFA 13 will be on shelves as well. That definitely sounds like European info.
But there's little to no chance only Europe will get this new machine, so it'll be interesting to hear if the information is correct come Sony's press conference at TGS. We have reason to believe it's plenty accurate.
