The next batch of downloadable content for the excellent award-winning Battlefield 3 is just around the corner.
Featuring an all-new game mode, four new maps and a bunch of fresh vehicles and unlocks, the Armored Kill DLC's imminent arrival has been anticipated by many.
And now, as revealed at the game's official site , Premium subscribers and PlayStation 3 owners will get first crack at it on September 4. Xbox 360 Premium peeps have to wait another week; September 11 is their day. As for everyone who isn't a Premium member, PS3 owners will get the content on September 18, and Xbox 360 and PC players will see it on September 25.
This will be the third DLC pack for the popular shooter; Back to Karkand and Close Quarters have already been released. DICE has also made it clear that they will continue to support BF3 as they continue work on BF4, so you don't have to worry about abandonment, hardcore fans. By the way, the new mode offered in Armored Kill is Tank Superiority, which is automatically awesome…because it'll have lots of tanks. It isn't as popular as CoD but there are still plenty of loyal Battlefield ers out there!
