If you want to expand your great Mass Effect 3 experience, it's just about time…
The Leviathan DLC will arrive on August 28 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC in North America. PS3 players in Europe will have to wait an extra day.
They've provided us with a launch trailer for the extra content and it's well worth watching. Commander Shepard must set out to "discover the most closely guarded secret in the galaxy" before the Reapers destroy it. You'll learn more about the origin of the Reapers as you race to retrieve the Leviathan, and you'll head out to explore "uncharted systems and new areas on the Citadel." There are also a few new characters and weapons, too.

Looks Prometheus-ey. If I ever want it I'll get a complete edition a few years from now, I don't like Bioware's DLC practices so I won't buy them piecemeal.
Amen
Wow! Why is there so much on the 28th? I think it's the day my wallet will suffer the most. Collections, SAGAS, PSV Updates and PSN downloadables.
I was so pissed when my N7 Collectors Edition wad backordered. I didn't get it.
Looks good, I definitely want to play it. But after the ending of ME3 I guess I'd rather not see dlc, especially dlc like this. I don't like going backwards to either A. Give the player more to do that potentially could have fit better in the actual game. Or B. To fill plot holes. All in all I'm really not a fan of dlc like this at all. It makes me feel like the game was incomplete to an extent. Judging by the trailer this would have been something I would have liked to know about the reapers before I finished the game not after.
I feel strangely done with Mass Effect now after Mass Effect 3. These days I long more to start hearing about the next Fallout.
I feel the same way.
Fallout is the best, I hope we get F4 before the next generation.
I hope we get Fallout 4 as one of the launch titles with the next generation! Oh yes. Imagine the Skyrim engine on next-gen hardware… Oh drool.
My Mass Effect 3 copy arrives next week, can't wait.
You have already played ME2, right? I'd say it's close to essential in order to fully enjoy ME3.
Yes I did, finished it 2 times – one with MaleShep and one with FemShep. Loved it to bits, real improvement from the 1st installment.
That trailer just blew my mind! I mean… EDI is using an assault rifle! I thought she could only equip pistols and sub-machine guns. What's going on? Has everything we thought was true in the Mass Effect universe suddenly been turned on its head?
Whoah. Doc, this is heavy.
