I'm not entirely sure what's going on here but at the very least, this little freaked-out rant is worth watching.
As seen by a NeoGAF user and posted at DSOGaming , a new video featuring voice actor Stephen Shellen has arrived on YouTube…and the guy is having some serious issues.
It's an act, of course (we're gonna assume that), but what does it mean? Shellen was the voice behind David Sarif in last year's excellent Deus Ex: Human Revolution , so if he thinks the Illuminati are coming for him, maybe that implies a new Deus Ex is in the works. Critics obviously liked the game and it sold pretty well, so it's more than possible that Square Enix wants Eidos to crank away on a fresh installment. Anyway, here's a paranoid Shellen:
Can't imagine Square want to include the guy talking about smoking weed in their promotional whatever for Deus Ex. It could just be that the guy is really high and posted up a video.
Maybe it's something they came up with when they were pitching ideas on how to westernize their games.
Naah I think it's too edited for that to be the case, Frosty. It looks "professionally made amateurish", in an attempt of making a "viral video".
But whatever it is I hope this has something to do with a new Deus Ex!

It doesn't need editing BB. It's one man in front of a camera having a good old fashioned waffle about fruit flies.
It may not need to be, but it *is* edited. Look again, it's cut every few seconds.
Granted it is edited quite a bit, didn't notice it the one other time I watched it. I guess it's just one of them mysteries. I'll definitely be looking at fruit flies more differently now. Don't want them vaccinating me.
He's not only a voice actor, but an on screen actor as well. Could signify a new game is in the works, a Deus Ex film is in the works, he is suffering from a mental break, or, and this is my guess, after working on the newest Deus Ex game, Stephen Shellen was picked up by the NSA, FBI, or CIA for his too accurate representation of a secret underground cybernetics developer.
Not wanting to chance if he actually knows that the government is planning on rolling out cybernetically enhanced super soldiers, the alphabet soup organisation that abducted him also subjected him to a multitude of tests and mental "enhancements". You can tell that this is most likely due to the fact that his hair is actually a wig to cover the scars from the social enhancement implants that now reside in his brain.
Being Canadian, Stephen Shellen was immune to American indoctrination and refused to submit to the cybernetic company's demands that he become the official spokesman to herald in a new age of human.
Knowing that they couldn't just kill him, they implanted false memories and psychosis subroutines into his neural net.
Now, everyone will just think him a crackpot and he'll fade off into oblivion.
TL;DR the gubment is evil and will brainwash you.
THE END.
I must say coverton341 you have almost nailed it!! Operation Artichoke was a program run by guess who and Mr.Shellen was also, after that didn't work taken into MILAB facilities but went AWOL and decided against all their fear tactics, to try to help mankind by spreading like a virus laughter and ironic humour which much like their subliminal messaging and symbolism in films and games, he has used for the good and the awakening that is needed. Cointelpro in reverse you might say. Some wonderful insights however coverton but never underestimate the HOBO!! (Higher Overt Biotech Operation. remember the court jesters always survive.
I think he likes to get "wet".
How about Thief 4 before a new Deus Ex, Eidos Montreal, hmmm?
you do know thief 4 was announced a while ago right?
there more than a big enough studio to be working on 2 titles at once!
Oh yes please.
oh f*ck yes!
all i ask is a more dark conspiracy theory story!
all the videos and such really reminded me of the stories in the the davinci code and angels and deamons.
but the story in deus ex human revolution was pretty anticlimactic!
i mean a evil organisation attacking one of the worlds biggest manufactures of augmentations and trying to get a hold on the world is not exactly the the davinci code worthy!
