Jak And Daxter, Cole MacGrath Added To Battle Royale Roster

Woo-hoo! Two awesome characters, right?

Two more fighters have been revealed for the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale , which – if you've forgotten – is slated to launch on October 23.

Jak and Daxter and Cole MacGrath will join the fray, much to the delight of long-time PlayStation fans everywhere. The dynamic duo will take advantage of the Blaster, Needle Lazer, Gyro Bursuter, and Mass Inverter, and Jak has the ability to unleash both the powers of the Dark and Light Jak (found in Jak II and Jak 3 ). Daxter helps with Jak's melee attacks, if you're wondering.

As for Cole, the "infamous" superhero is described as a "well-rounded fighter who is effective at both close and long range combat." Players will be able to utilize his patented electrokinesis and cryokinesis skills, and you can bet he'll be tough to take down. Catch glimpses of both Jak and Daxter and Cole in action over at the PlayStation Blog .

Oh yeah I remember him being announced. I never did beat him, he just popped up behind me and knifed me every time.

Cole fits this game like a glove. I'd still like to see Nariko in this game though. And Anna Torv should still do her voice over.

Is it true the controls to this game will be more like MarvelvsCapcom than a control scheme like Smash Bros? I read this on an article the other day. If Heihachi has his original control scheme (or slightly adapted like in Soul Calibur) then I have already won 😛

More like a hybrid of the two… From what I've seen.
