Might as well deliver the new characters early, right?
Originally, Capcom had planned to release 12 new characters for the console versions of Street Fighter X Tekken after the Vita iteration hit this fall. But the publisher has announced they're jumpin' the gun.
Those characters will be coming out on July 31 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game in question. The 12-fighter DLC pack will retail for $19.99 (or 1600 Microsoft Points), and that will bring the total roster number in the well-received title to an even 50. Here are the additions; you'll likely recognize the names:
Street Fighter Camp: Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, Sakura
Tekken: Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, Lei Wulong
The more characters the better. Of course, we're not sure how the fans will respond to the price; $20 for 12 characters might seem a little pricey, depending on your point of view. The hardcore fighting aficionados might not think it's too bad, though; after all, it takes a lot of time to master all those new characters…

I'm just going to wait for the ultimate version to come out that includes everything and is ten dollars cheaper.
I'll do the same. awesome pic. One of my favorite bands.
Capcoms DLC practice sucks. I hope no one buys this.
The saddest part is the loyal fans who buy this get shafted when 6 months later they release the super edition that costs 10 bucks cheaper than the original but has all the DLC. What a way to reward the people who support you.
