Many are wondering if Sony and Microsoft will unveil their new consoles, but most analysts and legitimate sources say it won't happen. Still, according to a Tweet from PSM3 magazine, Sony does have "one big surprise" in store, even though it doesn't involve the PS4.
"Sony *do* have at least one big surprise, we hear, that makes us go 'ooh', and it's not PS4."
With the PS4 out of the running, the guessing game becomes a lot harder. We already have the Vita and PlayStation Move, so another piece of hardware or some sort of accessory seems unlikely. We'd have to assume this surprise is about software; we expect to see a lot of new Vita games during Sony's press conference, and there has been a rumor about Grand Theft Auto V on Sony's new portable…
Remember, analyst Michael Pachter said he was excited after seeing "one big title on the Vita." Then again, maybe it's Quantic Dream's new PS3 exclusive project…
a butt load of new software for move
The only thing i really care to see coming from them is a new Legend of Dragoon .

dam, and here i was all getting excited!
if $ony has ONE cat to pull out of its bag at the biggest event of the year than it will be a epic disaster!
they really need to announce a sh*t ton of games for the ps3 and vita because as previously mentioned the next 12 months are looking pretty deserted!
only ps3 exclusive im looking forward to is the last of us, and the only vita title im looking forward to is, well, nothing!
bioshock, AC, and COD will most likely turn out to be ports of their counterparts instead of exclusive games.
this is the first year where the 360 actually has MORE games releasing exclusively for it than the ps3 does!

both $ony and M$ really need to bring the cats out of the bag for E3 this year because ninty is not going to be going quietly.
it will be really interesting to see how the wiiu effects the industry, and if it pushes the rest to push forward their next systems.
im really looking forward to it, especially the new tablet looks so freaking cool!
O, and as for the 1 surprise they have planned id like to go for the return of 8 days and the getaway 3!

8 day was looking better than uncharted 2, and it was to release 3 years earlier!
and the getaway 3, well, its only the 1 franchise that has ever stood up to the biggest franchise in the industry GTA!
nah that does not deserve a sequel not at all!

I would be happy if they just let us play YOUTUBE VIDEOS and stuff. Oh yeah, not to mention open up all the PS1 and PSP games on the Vita.
THey really need to get on the ball with the Vita.
I'd say inFamous 3, Killzone 4, or Quantic Dream's new game.

I think a HUGE announcement would be the longest running work in progress after Duke Nukem Forever came out, lol. A release date for Versus XIII would land my preorder the same day, lol.
I hope it's huge and I hope there's more than one surprise.
FFVersus XIII this year with exclusivity (meaning it won't be stripped for 360)
FF XV (as a return to Square Soft's roots)
What if it's a merger? Or the FFVII remake we'll never get….

It's probably "Kara", that game that only had a tech intro a month or two ago. A game that MAY be the first "rated AO" title for PlayStation…. fingers xrossed.
sony is a business and they want to make money.. all companies hate used games but they cant shake the fact thers so many good ps2 games this who remastering in HD is nice but cant be expected for all titles and the crazy price tags for ps2 classics 10 bucks is still alot… i think it may finaly be what i have dreamed about since b/c stopped for ps3's…. it JUST MAY BE… an add on for the ps3 slim to play ps2 games… if not that then ther nuts if they were to slap a 50-60 dollar price tag on it i think ppl wud buy it i know i would..
the only other thing it could be is maybe a tv with a ps3 in it? i mean ppl have also dreamed (or dreampt however you wud say it) about that too… i mean take a 32 inch lcd hdtv (no more than 250 even 200 at some places and a ps3 no more than 250 online its less) put them together and sell it for 399.99 would be a great idea.. they cud promote it how it plays blu-rays (ps3 has always done it but it was never marketed well in this area)
Y does everyone seem to think it is always to do with the consoles? maybe it could be to do with the REMOTE PLAY/PSN NETWORK service they said they were going to bring to almost all android handsets. Now that would be a big announcement!

It going to be this they are going to take any exsclusive game for XB360 and merge XB360 & PS3 and have both consoles connect to challenge everyone who thinks they're #1 just settle things down!! 😛
I like suprises 🙂 i can't really assume what it could be cause well i haven't been keeping up with gaming News lately :(. But if I did have to guess maybe more games to Vita or more info on Last of Us 🙂
