Need some arcade fightin' fun?
Today, Sega of America Inc. and Sega Europe Ltd. have announced that Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown will come to the PlayStation Network on June 5, and a day later on the Xbox Live Arcade. The price will be $14.99 or 1,200 Microsoft Points.
As a bonus, character customization DLC packs will be available on launch day; all 19 fighters will be covered, with each pack going for $4.99 or 400 Microsoft Points. These add-on packs will boast 600-950 customization items, so that should be more than enough to get your favorite fighter all decked out. Furthermore, two additional customization packs – one with nine characters' worth of DLC items and the other with ten – will be available for $14.99 or 1,200 Microsoft Points.
This is the latest arcade version in the VF5 series, and it includes two new characters: VF3 favorite Taka-Arashi and newcomer Jean Kujo. The game will also give you "dynamic and interactive fighting arenas," a "robust and detailed Training Mode," an eight-player Online Room Match Mode, and even a match record feature so you can replay, save and upload fights.
