Devil May Cry 4 Details, 1080p @ 60fps

Here's a quick update for you guys regarding Devil May Cry 4. The latest issue of PSM had the guys sharing their hands-on experiences with the game and, clearly, we have to report on a few of the tidbits. The one feature that caught my eye was that DMC4 will be rendered at a staggering 1080p resolution, whilst still animating at 60 frames per second. That's right: 1080p at 60fps. And the build PSM was playing was the PlayStation 3 build, so the game's performance is unconfirmed as far as the Xbox 360.

Also, just to clear up some earlier doubts, PSM reports that Dante is indeed playable in the game, but Nero is the main character. Capcom purposely made the decision citing that Dante's strength has become far too powerful, which would throw off the game's balance if he were the primary character. Though the good, nay… great news is that PSM says that they prefered Nero over Dante, anyways. So the scarred from Metal Gear Solid 2 (remember Raiden?) can rest assured that Nero is every bit as bad ass as you'd expect.

Finally, Capcom has left Dante's animations largely unchanged as opposed to DMC3. Instead, they focused on developing Nero's style and moveset. Apparently, Nero is quite the acrobatic character and comes equipped with a bag o' tricks. Consider us excited.
