It tends to happen with awesome games, and it gives people a second chance to play one of the best.
Rocksteady Studios has announced the Batman: Arkham City Game of the Year Edition, which will hit store shelves for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 29 in North America. European gamers will have to wait until September 7.
The attractive package will feature every update for the game and all released downloadable packs (Catwoman, Nightwing, and Robin add-ons), plus the Arkham City Skin and Challenge packs. Furthermore, it will include the "Batman: Year One" animated movie (USA and Canada only) along with the last piece of DLC for the caped crusader's most recent adventure: Harley Quinn's Revenge.
This will have us playing as Batman and Robin, fighting against new enemies in new environments, all in an effort to thwart Harley's evil plan. If you've already got the game and have no intention of picking up the GotY Edition, you can grab this DLC via separate download on May 29. It'll be available for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network or 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live. You know you want it!

Its a good thing I waited, I could have snagged this for $10.
I should have gotten it, but the DLC would have set the price up high, with this I can get it all in one!
Probably my favorite game of last year. I knew I would like it, but I really thought it was something special. It reminded me of how awestruck I was when I was a kid watching Tim Burton's Batman for the first time. Highly recommended purchase, for those who haven't played it already.
Well I'll be able to snag this on the ps3 now. 360 version doesn't look as polished as the ps3 version..
is that actually true or are you just trollin the 360?
Good thing I'm always broke, or else I would've gotten this on day one. Now I could get the complete edition when it's cheap.
Releasing this the GOTY edition right before summer is a good idea because goty games are released during the fall blockbusters.
Maybe the best control of any game I've ever played!
How much?
Yes! I sold my copy the moment I finished it because I knew there will be a GOTY.
Cool, I should be able to trade up my copy towards the GOTY edition for around $5 a few months after it comes out the.n
eh.
i wish rocksteady would revisit the series but this time make it a much more stealth orientated game!
still maintain arkham asylum was a FAR better game!
i loved the openness of the city, but everything else felt half as baked as the original did.
