Avalanche isn't just about Just Cause , ya know.
In fact, the studio is planning to unveil no less than three "big-budget titles" that are in the works, the first of which will be unveiled before July.
According to GameSpot , these games should release between 2013 and 2014, and this new expansion comes as a result of Avalanche opening the doors of a new development house in New York City. Last month, the company revealed that they were on the talent warpath, grabbing "senior-level talent" from multiple locations, including Insomniac, Volition, BioWare, Sucker Punch, Ubisoft and Sony. Mostly, Avalanche is known for the aforementioned Just Cause series, but this branching out should result in wider recognition. What else would you like to see these guys do?
Of course, we imagine one of those three projects will be Just Cause 3 . The sequel proved plenty popular and garnered quite the legion of loyal followers. Yeah, we know you're out there.
Ummm since Prototype 2 will probably fall flat and it might be awhile before inFamous 3 I'd like to see another open city super-power adventure and these guys can do sandbox.
Ive been wanting to get Just Cause 2 but my huge backlog prevents me from doing so.
S-F*CKING-WEET!
one of the best developers out there, as long as there working on just cause 3, i cant wait to see what other IPs they can do!
oh imagine these guys working with EA on a mercenaries 3 game on FB2.
now that would be epic!
funny a rumour popped up yesterday that mercenaries 3 was in the making for FB2 too……..
they better give us JC3 though, i still play 2 on my PC from time to time with trainers.
i was really shocked to see the mod support this game received!
i mean anything you can think of wanting in the game, chances are its already been modded in!
skins, new vehicles, new weapons, new ammo types, increase the distance of the grapple, have multiple hook points, on top with trainers allowing unlimited ammo, health, explosives, spawning vehicles.
i wish all games would get trainer and mod support like this!
@_________ You said you love these guys mod kits they input into there games then I'm sure you would be disappointed with them partnering with EA because EA does not support mod tools no more. Im curious how C-S: Global Offensive will be with cross platform gaming when that game was built from the modding community and Valve said it wont be dumbed down for console, but also console and PC will have same experience not being able to tell if that was a PC or PS3 guy that just shot your ass. Obviously no mod tools for PS3 but can PS3 join a server that has a Mod added into it?
just cause 2 is awesome but holy crap the missions… theres so freaking many… you dont even wanna do em…. but the best part about just cuase is the open world and not doing the missions
just like GTA (on steroids is what i call it) it can be fun to go out take cars bikes JETS helicopters boats etc and go for a joy ride
once i rode up to a freaking BLIMP in the sky when i had the game… and there was like a nighttime party being thrown but it looked like it was for gay ppl lol i started killing everyone and jumped off
in other words if you LIKE gta
you will LOVE just cause
