Last week, we learned European gamers would have to wait a bit longer for Twisted Metal .
At the time, Eat Sleep Play boss David Jaffe said this was due to some localization issues, and SCEE needed to cut some content. Jaffe was none too happy about that but as he said, it's "not his game" and he has no control over the content that stays or goes. He also said Europe should be getting the reboot in early March, possibly as early as the 1st.
As it turns out, he wasn't too far off. He revealed on his blog that Twisted Metal would be released in "SCEE territories" on March 7. It sucks that our friends across the pond will get a slightly gimped version, but…well, them's the breaks. Can't fight city hall. At the very least, this means everyone will have access to one of the most anticipated titles of 2012 within the next month. It'll still be on store shelves here in the US on February 14, and we can't wait to give it a try. It has been so long since we last blew sh** up in vehicular mayhem!
Valentine's Day seems so appropriate, don't you think?
