John-ShepardOkay, Call of Duty Elite subscribers, it's time to check the calendar .
The content calendar for Modern Warfare 3 , to be exact. Activision has said subscribers would enjoy 20 separate pieces of expansion content in the first year of Elite and now, you can see when each DLC pack is going to drop.
This week, two new maps are coming your way and that's only the beginning: scheduled through September is more content, and the total amount of bonus goodies will come to twelve new maps, six new missions, and even a couple new gameplay modes. At least one piece of new content will be available each month, although you're going to have to wait until June before you can try the first of those two new modes (the second arrives in August).
If you aren't an Elite member, you should be able to grab all the extra stuff, too…you'll just have to pay for it. Because the basic Elite subscription is free, a great many signed up last year, and over a million picked up the premium $50/year subscription. The latter group will be in line for more perks, by the way, so sign up if you haven't already.

haha, I'm being half sarcastic and half serious. I've noticed among my cod-following friends both in real life and across the internet it hasn't enjoyed as lengthy a time as a conversation topic as MW2 was.
The CoD hype is alive and well, but it has definitely lost the same lasting effect it did 2 years ago. I've noticed the same behavior on my friends list as World.
Is this calendar for xbox only?
I've not seen anything that mentions the PS3 dates yet.
and…yet, STILL no word on when the PS3 will be getting content….an utterly epic crap fest on the PS3 as usual from Activision.

i like my 360 and love my ps3 but im not playing new cod's on my 360
