Are you saying you have not purchased GT5 yet? Wow! This XL edition is an awesome purchase but the game is so fantastic that not getting day one when it was released was a mistake. I have thoroughly enjoyed this game. Since you haven't played it yet, get the XL edition and enjoy. You won't be disappointed.
I'll skip out got my gran turismo 5 new for $20!
Yeah, but you got it WITHOUT all that added DLC & the added bonuses that the new version's going to have included on the disc for free, am I right????
Or was all the DLC free that came out already???

$20 dollar worth of dlc is what theyve already released. with the XL version, you probably wont have to download the huge updates.
I want to trade in my old GT5 and get this.
That's what I am thinking! 🙂
I'll be buying it. The collector of things Gran Turismo in me has to have it.
The cool thing is that Sony said on th PS Blog that GT5 is to big to put on the PSN.
I always wondered… Why are games on disk bigger on disk and smaller on PSN?
although this would be good for new customers, i'm passing on this one. they'll most likely have all updates on the disc so all you need to do is install it.
on a side note, i love that redbull car. my bspec driver is lapping supercars left and right. i'm not too bad with it either.
I'm still miffed that my collector's edition version erased the bonus cars off my save file for some reason. The only way I can get them back, that I know of, is to start all over and that's just not happening.
Well since the dlc gives you the x2011 this might ruin the game for quite a few lalate buyers, because one of my favorite acomplishments was tuning the zr1 to beat lamanze style racers in the gran turismo cup. Yet if you have the best car in the game already than there is no need to tune. (Except on a few specialty races)
My ps3 died playing gt5….. It was an honor
Sorry to read this but that is so awesome!!! I would be honored as well!
wish more publishers would do this!
id end up playing a hell of allot more DLC if they released a updated version with it included in a disk form.
during boxing day i was trying to find GT5 for the hubby as it was on sale for 20 bucks happy i couldn't find it, he'll enjoy this verson better.
