Maybe you're looking for more reasons to pick up the PlayStation Move. Or maybe you're thinking about Sony's motion controller as a generous holiday gift.
Head on over to the PlayStation Blog to learn about a couple new PlayStation Move bundles that feature several fresh experiences.
The first is a Move package that includes Sports Champions and Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest , along with the standard PlayStation Eye camera and the Move controller, all for the agreeable price of $99.99. Medieval Moves is a new action/adventure title designed specifically for Move; players will use the controller to swing a sword, shoot arrows, and chuck throwing stars at hordes of skeletons and monsters. It also supports 3D.
Then there's a PlayStation 3 Everybody Dance bundle, which also involves Move. Dubbed the "perfect party-starter" for the holidays, the package will be available exclusively at Target for the low price of $299.99: you get a 320GB PS3, the Move controller, the Eye, a DualShock 3 wireless controller, and of course, the game. Basically, considering the 320GB PS3 costs $299.99 on its own, you're getting all that extra stuff for free.
It's nice to see Move getting more support these days. We just got four new Move-based games today, one of which is the aforementioned Deadmund's Quest . However, as I really don't have time to do four separate reviews, I might offer a 4-in-1 analysis of sorts.
I'm still waiting for Sorcery. It's a long time since they showed that game and it was pretty impressive then. A pity it's taking so long to get what could be one of the killer apps for Move to market.
Me too I forgot all about sorcery since they pushed it back.
I've been waiting on sorcery just to get Move as well. It's the only game that's appealed to me for Move.
Oh ya. That game didn't get cancled did it?
Amazon shows it as shipping DEC 31st, which either means it's slipped to 2012, or it's arriving in time for Christmas, but no date yet. If I were Sony I'd do everything possible to drop the game at least two weeks before Christmas. It's available for pre-order, it's even available for pre-order via Sony's own Playstation site. So it's definitely coming.
In other news. Skyrim has the most OUTRAGEOUS DRM ever!!!
I will NOT every buy a game from them again until I KNOW I can actually use my game!!!!!!!
No steam, no game – even off-line. Correct?
Yes on the PC you are required to be logged into steam. It comes with a key and links to your steam account.
As someone to avoids steam, first I had to update steam… then after installing skyrim, recovering my account password, logging in,and linking game…. it had a required release day update..
All that's not that bad but the worst thing is that you can only use it on one computer. I did manage to get it on my laptop and desktop, but you cant lend out the game (says so on the disk), cant resell the game, requires steam to be running and internet connection.
Over all its not that bad…. but it makes me mad that the people who steal the game don't have to deal with any of this.
I kinda wish I just bought the ps3 version….
and thats why im done with PC gaming!
just not worth the hedache and flaming loops you have to jump through just to get your games working!
O, not to mention steam got hacked recently so it will be interesting to see how that effects this.
I'm looking for a PS3 bundle like a starving grizzly bear since my Grey baby unexpectedly died. But I don't see a Move bundle that tempting to me.
Someone heard of other good bundles?
I'd be willing to get a move if it just had more games that support it. It would just be a waste for me to get it. Definitely plan on buying it though, but now is not the right time.
Ya I got move when I could get it cheap (75 for one controller and camera)
I hardly ever use it.
Resistance 3 is fun with it but its easier to play with controller.
The Sports games is actually sorta decent
Makes a great way to replay Heavy Rain
I like playing high velocity bowling on it
but in terms of quality games just for move… not really anything
wish they would show some more of sourcery, that game looked so freaking cool!
id be cool if they could get a propper harry pothead game using the move.
and i mean a propper pothead game, not like the crappy shooters the later ones have turned into!
shame the new leggo harry pothead does not support it.
i wish $ony would do a move game like skyrim too, would be the perfect game for it!
a cowboys styled game like red steel 2, im shocked ubisoft has not ported that yet it would of been the perfect game for the move!
it was actually quite a good game too….
$ony are so obsessed trying to steal nintys market, and trying to prove move can be used for FPS there forgetting about the rest of the market!
moves no good for FPS its far too twitchy, far too hard to get a decent shot on it.
its much better suited to action adventure games!
