If you missed Fallout: New Vegas and you always regretted it, circle a day in February.
Although it has been over a year since the game launched, Bethesda Softworks thinks it's time to get more gamers involved. Therefore, they've announced the Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition , which is scheduled to launch for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on February 7 in North America and three days later in Europe.
It'll come with all the downloadable cotntent released thus far; that's four packs: Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road. Furthermore, it'll boast Courier's Stash (four smaller add-ons used as pre-order bonuses) and the Gun Runner's Arsenal, which has a variety of weapons and weapon mods. Bethesda typically creates epic, in-depth experiences and Fallout: New Vegas is no exception.
Of course, you might be spending your money on the team's newest title on November 11…
Related Game(s): Fallout: New Vegas
What did I tell you… I knew this would happen, this is precisely why I did not buy the game at the original release date… beyond a joke.
The joke is how buggy these games are.
I've been waiting for this before trying 'New Vegas', mostly because I wasn't sure how Obsidian would handle it or if the downloadable content would be worth the asking price (even 'Fallout 3's was a bit hit-or-miss). But I'll definitely be picking this up come February, since general word seems to be that Obsidian have made an at least mostly worthy follow-up to 'Fallout 3.'
i am a huge fallout 3 fan. i thought it was one of best videogames i have ever played. i thought the dlc was fantastic as well. unfortunately i did not care for new vegas as much. worthy sequel? yes, but much of the fallout magic seems to have been lost by obsidian. it's tough to explain why but i think it comes down to story and characters.
Yeah I too think Fallout 3 was much better than New Vegas. Not technically (I think it must have been build on the exact same engine?) but this whole New Vegas deal was just… Bah. Plus the city itself was way too small.
New Vegas is ok, don't get me wrong, but nothing like Fallout 3.
I'll grab this, never bought New Vegas…
edit/ Does anyone have an opinion on whether the downloadable content is worth the full $60 (rather than buying the non-ultimate edition for cheaper)?

Awesome!!!! But no need for this since I already got all of it!
The thing is now that I have waited so long for this, I have just lost interest altogether. Same for Borderlands and Rage or anyother Post-apocalyptic setting.
I dont know if it was me but New Vegas was really buggy. i would freeze my ps3 after a couple of hours. same thing happened with fall out. I still loved both games but really buggy.
I'll wait for the version of the game that doesn't cause my PS3 to freeze every ten minutes. 😀
Good luck with that, I hope you are a very patient person.
If the ridiculous bugs (Floating heads, Skin bags talking) are fixed then I'll consider it. Those freezes were crippling and no Stimpack could cure 4 hours of lost progress.

I'll put this on my list of games to pick up for the PC. I loved the other 3 fallouts (not a fan of tactics or brotherhood.) and have been waiting for the bugs to be fix and the DLC to be included.
I purchased Fallout 3 GOTY to sample all the DLC packs and at the end I was eh!! 30 bones for a few more hours of game was not worth it.
I will be avoiding New Vegas Ultimate in favor of SKKKYYYYYRRRRIIIIIMMMMMM!!!! , Rage, Uncharted 3 and patiently waiting for Prey 2.
This is why I won't be buying Skyrim day 1. I will wait till next year get the full game, save a bundle, and will not have missed a thing.
Games like this that are purely offline and almost always offer a more complete edition later on in the games life cycle have made me rethink the way I buy my games. I no longer worry about getting these games as I am a patient person and many other games deserve my money anyways.
The bugs in fallout 3 almost destroyed the game for me so I've been avoiding this one.
My ps3 is on its last legs , can't be risking nuttin
This one didn't hit me quite as much as FO3 did. Don't get me wrong, NV was actually a great game expanding on many aspects that FO3 sort of missed. But FO3 was just so damn good, to me! I mean, the part where (spoiler) you find your father hooked up to the machine, so you have to enter this alternate universe which is black and white and interact with people who behave as they did in the '50's(spoiler ends). I just thought that was awesome! Anyway, this is a great deal for those looking to jump into the FO universe.
Then Skyrim will get one as well, oh Bethesda Bethesda.
Dang I might have to sell my fallout and get this one…
notice how this ones not called the GOTY edition?
hmmmmmmmm………
i wonder why!
no thanks bethesda i made the mistake picking this up on release.
as the saying goes fool me once shame on you.
fool me twice shame on me.
Getting it for PC then as well. 🙂
