Media Create Japan Software Sales: April 16th-22th

Well, I'm back. I haven't had any internet access for the past
3 days, so I realize that the charts info is a bit late.
Regardless, here it is. Overall, a terrific week in sales with
three debuts pulling in fantastic digits. Super Paper Mario
topped the chart with 144k games sold, and yes, for the first
time in a long time we Americans got the game before Japan did.
The PS2 game Fate/Stay Night debuted with 135k copies sold. And
rounding out the top three is Atlus' Persona 3: Fes with 90k.

The first Final Fantasy remake debuted last week on the PSP, and
popped into the number-five spot, with almost 50k sold. The
numbers for Final Fantasy were less than what Square-Enix was
hoping for. Notables for this week are Wii Sports and Wii Play,
as Wii Play climbed back into the chart.
