The expected Final Fantasy XII craze is officially that: a craze.
It may not be a surprise to many, but we must remember that Square-Enix is a relatively new company (Square and Enix merged only a few short years ago), so they haven't been delivering PS2 games to the U.S. for very long. Square may have made bigger shipments, but this is a Square-Enix landmark- 1.5 million copies of Final Fantasy XII have shipped to the U.S. and Canada.
The wildly popular title has already sold over 2.4 million copies in Japan since its release in March, and it should continue to sell like hotcakes straight through the holiday season.
