Cavin-SmithThe latest and long-awaited entry into the Final Fantasy franchise is nearing its release. Some staff problems and the seemingly endless delaying of the title have led to some speculation as to the ultimate quality of FFXII, citing these effects as symptoms of flawed design.
Well, worry no more. Premiere Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has given the game a perfect 40 (4 reviewers, with a maximum score of 10 each). Only five other games in the history of the magazine have received this score, and not one of them has been a Final Fantasy game.
It is assumed that FFXII will be released in the US this coming fall.
