Frank-ProvoSome of you may remember Winback: Covert Operations (aka Operation: Winback), Koei's attempt to copycat Konami's Metal Gear Solid franchise with their own puzzle-oriented stealth-action game. Although the game wasn't a popular success, it did earn its share of loyal fans… many of whom have been begging Koei for a sequel for nearly four-years now.
Wish granted. We don't have any screens to show, yet, but sources within Koei confirm that the company is working on a sequel to Winback: Covert Operations, tentatively titled Winback: 2nd Operation, to be released on the PlayStation 2 late in 2005.
The game will be unveiled at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, which is to take place May 18th – 20th in Los Angeles.
