Frank-ProvoAfter reading on various online forums that people were having trouble tracking down copies of Alien Hominid (the awesome 2D shoot 'em up
earlier in the week), we decided to look into the situation.
As it turns out, there does seem to be a supply shortage with regards to the PS2 version of the game. Many EB Games and GameStop locations are sold out (we have confirmed reports from states such as California, Washington State, New York, and Michigan), and both companies' online shops have the game listed on "back order" status.
Even the official Alien Hominid web site, at alienhominid.com is sold out of the PS2 version. A message posted on the site says, "We are taking backorders for the PS2 version of AH, which has sold out. We expect more copies by January 5th."
