For those of you wondering how the PS2's big holiday game has done so far, ELSPA has announced that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has sold one million units in nine days, making it the fastest selling game of all time in the U.K.

"This is a magnificent achievement and equates to a staggering estimated value of more than £35 million." Roger Bennett, director general of ELPSA said. "The entire Grand Theft Auto series has been a phenomenal success worldwide, generating sales of more three and half million units in the U.K. alone. But best of all, this series is home grown, developed right here in U.K."
