Tony Hawk and Spidey Go To PSP

It looks like companies are getting excited to work on Sony's upcoming PSP portable platform…

Today, Activision issued a press release announcing that they have two games in development for Sony's PSP, a handheld system which is due out in Japan later this year and in North America sometime in 2005.

The two games are Spider-Man 2 and Tony Hawk's Underground 2, and both are expected to be launch titles for the platform. Tony Hawk's Underground 2 is being developed by Shaba Games and Spider-Man 2 is being developed by Vicarious Visions. Shaba Games previously developed the PSOne versions of Grind Session and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3. Vicarious Visions has developed a slew of games for the Game Boy Advance, including the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series and Spider-Man 2: The Movie.
