Charlie Murphy in GTA: San Andreas

We reported a couple months ago that Dave Chapelle, of

fame, had signed on to voice a character in Konami's upcoming Metal Gear Solid 3 game.

Well, it looks like he isn't the only Chapelle's Show alum to get into the video game voice-acting business. Rockstar Games has signed Charlie Murphy to do some voice work for the much-anticipated third installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Charlie Murphy is famous–or infamous–for the two "Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories" sketches that appeared on Chapelle's Show poking fun at Rick James and the artist currently known as Prince.

No word yet on exactly which character he'll portray.
