Frank-ProvoSony confirmed the release date for Gran Turismo 4 a couple days ago during their pre-TGS conference, but we didn't bother to report the news since the US date remained unchanged. FYI–December 4 in Japan, December 14 in US. But now Sony has also announced that the upcoming game WILL NOT have an online mode.
That is news.
Apparently, a new Gran Turismo game is planned for 2005 that will feature online play. Editor's Note: There's a good deal of confusion going around right now regarding this new GT game. It should be noted that the new GT game will only serve as an online add-on for GT4. Whether or not it has other features not found in GT4 (tracks, cars, etc.) has yet to be disclosed. — Arnold K.
