Jim Carrey’s in the Game

No real shock here, but Jim Carrey will lend his voice to the upcoming videogame version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events.

"Jim Carrey spent an entire day in the studio recording voice-over for the Count Olaf, Stephano and Captian Sham characters in the game," Activision vp global brand management Lisa Gaudio said. "Mr. Carrey was given a script to work from, however, he ad-libbed a lot of the voice-over so that he could truly lend his personality to the characters."

The game will ship on November 9th for the PS2, Xbox, and the GameCube.
