Aaron ThomasPeople tired of nagging SOCOM II online issues can celebrate the news that SCEA is planning on issuing an online update to SOCOM II: U.S. Navy Seals on September 9.
One of the main fixes in this update will be a correction to the stats system. Players will no longer be able to exploit the game to illegally boost their overall rank. Everyone will start with a clean slate, as the ladder rankings will be reset for all players.
Many other issues are being addressed in the update, including an adjustment of the parameters for having players vote other players off, a fix for the areas where players were getting outside of the map or into specific objects, and a fix for certain disconnect problems.
